About Me

Chiara Ghilotti

Who I Am…

Since I was a child, movement has been my first language. Even before words, my body told the story of who I was.

Dance, athletics, swimming… every gesture became my refuge, the space where I could feel free, alive, and present.

As I grew, my sensitivity allowed me to perceive everything with intensity: emotions, atmospheres, silences. A precious gift… but also a weight.

I always asked myself:

“What is my place in the world? Why do I feel different? What can I offer to others?”

For years, despite my natural connection with my body, I felt lost. I moved, studied, changed direction… yet inside, there was always a sense of emptiness and misalignment.

My Journey to Ibiza

Eleven years ago, I decided to move to Ibiza, driven by a deep need to change my surroundings and listen to the part of me that was asking for space.

Working in boutiques, shops, and restaurants helped me ground myself and learn Spanish quickly, but the feeling of “not being in the right place” kept knocking inside me.

The turning point came during my first yoga class. Total chaos:

  • left and right seemed reversed
  • my mind was overloaded
  • my arms trembled

I felt vulnerable like never before.

Yet in that moment, I realized I was touching something real:

“Yoga taught me that the body is not just a tool to move: it is a guide, an archive of emotions, a place to return to.”

Since then, my journey has become consistent and deep.

Training and Practice

I began a steady yoga practice, starting with Ashtanga, which accompanied me before and after my time in India.

I completed my first training at Trimurti Yoga School and, a few months later, in Rishikesh, I practiced Iyengarintensively.

In Europe, I continued my studies: Yoga Anatomy and Lighthouse Yoga in Madrid, and two years of Kundalini Yoga in Barcelona.

In 2023, I studied Vinyasa, Power Yoga, and Handstand in New York, and in 2024 I integrated Sound Healing into my practice.

Currently, I am training in Functional Yoga, to combine mobility, biomechanics, and conscious practice. In parallel with my practice, I am taking a course in meditation and mindfulness to integrate awareness and presence into my work.

Each experience has added a new dimension to my journey, helping me understand the body as a guide, archive of emotions, and place of return.

Where I Teach

Today, I work full-time as a yoga teacher in Ibiza and online, for those who wish to practice from anywhere in the world.

I collaborate with Ashram Yoga Ibiza and Hotel Torre del Mar.

I offer private lessons, events, and organize retreats in Italian, Spanish, and English.

My Approach

My goal is to create spaces where conscious movement and the breath meet, slowly opening the doors of the body and the heart, and dismantling the barriers that over time have been built around our ability to feel and to be present.

Every day, I learn something new from the body, the breath, and the people I meet on the mat.

My path is in continuous evolution: through study, training, and daily practice, I grow as both a practitioner and a teacher, exploring with curiosity and dedication the many facets of the body, the mind, and consciousness.
